Elaine is a new media enthusiast with expertise in both business-to-consumer and business-to-business public relations and marketing communications. As an account director at 104 West, Elaine manages the direction of multiple accounts. She also oversees the new media practice at 104 West and spends much of her time counseling various clients on how best to maximize their online efforts.
Prior joining 104 West, Elaine was an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder where she taught the Introduction to Public Relations. She previously led the public relations and marketing communications efforts for ServiceMagic.com, an IAC/InterActiveCorp company, where she was responsible for developing and implementing all public relations and marketing communications strategies and initiatives, as well as various online marketing campaigns.
Elaine has developed and implemented integrated public relations campaigns at leading public relations firms including Schenkein, Ogilvy Public Relations and Golin/Harris International where she generated results for consumer and high-tech clients including Western Union, Home Depot, Qwest Communications, Texas Instruments, Amazon.com and St. John. Elaine’s programs have been recognized by the industry with multiple awards from the Public Relations Society of America.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with an emphasis on public relations and a minor in marketing from The University of North Texas in Denton.
